A few weeks ago, Gunilla and Liselotte visited our consultant Katarina, who is on assignment at @volvopenta in Vara.👋 It was an incredibly informative visit where they were given a guided tour of the factory and got to see how the production of these magnificent boat engines takes place.
Katarina has been working at Volvo since 2020 and is currently driving pure development projects to develop new electric configurations in the transition towards a more electrified future.🔋 Here’s what she says about the assignment and life as a consultant at Recas👇
How long have you been working at Recas and Volvo?
I started as a preparer in the fall of 2020 and transitioned to project manager in September 2022. Electromobility is a relatively new area at Volvo Penta, but electrification is starting to creep into all vehicles/machines, and the customers are worldwide, so it’s incredibly exciting!
What do you feel about Recas?
Familial is the first word that pops up when I think of Recas. I try to visit the consultant office once a week, and even though I don’t work with the rest of the staff, I always feel very welcome when I show up. I thrive at Recas, and it’s so fun to be part of Team Recas.
