At Recas, we believe in karma. We believe that by doing good, we receive good in return. We are also deeply committed to our community and strive to make it a better place. Karma is one of our core values that permeates everything we do and every decision we make. Therefore, it was only natural for us to introduce Karma Day – a regular workday where instead of our usual tasks, we dedicate our time to performing a good deed – for the betterment of Trollhättan. 💙
One of our employees who has utilized her Karma Day today is Emma, and here’s what she had to say:
“Trash in nature can cause many problems over time, and what breaks down doesn’t always disappear. For example, plastic breaks down into microplastics, which is a big problem, and once it ends up in the ocean and our lakes, it’s not easy to remove. That’s why I chose to spend my day picking up as much trash as I could, big and small, near waterways, lakes, and the sea. After this day, I feel inspired about how I can contribute more to both removing microplastics from nature and preventing them from ending up there in the first place.” 🌱♻️
